Assistant Director of Sales

Good day,

Were looking for an Assistant Director of Sales to be deployed to one of our prestigious clients based in Doha, Qatar. Candidates are expected to read through the Minimum Requirements and to answer the pre-screening questions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, specializing in corporate and social event spaces within 4/5 star hotels.
• Strong ability to build and maintain a network to generate leads.
• Advanced sales skills, including effective negotiation, persuasive communication and successful deal closing.
• Comprehensive understanding of the market in the Hospitality Industry, with experience in esteemed hospitality chains.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on supporting the Director of Sales in achieving departmental goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Director of Sales in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
• Conducting market research and identifying potential business opportunities.
• Supporting the Director of Sales in managing the sales team, including training and performance evaluations.
• Motivating team members to achieve sales targets and providing guidance as needed.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and corporate accounts.
• Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes.
• Providing insights and recommendations based on market analysis to adjust sales strategies.
• Collaborating with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Supporting digital marketing efforts and utilizing social media platforms to enhance brand visibility.
• Assisting in preparing sales forecasts, budgets, and detailed reports for management.
• Analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Handling administrative tasks related to sales operations, such as contract management and database management.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
• And as needed by Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR9,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
